iPhone Apps for your Car: iPhone Car Performance Measurement Apps

A few weeks ago we saw the Dynolicious iPhone App available for purchase via iTunes App store and I wondered what all the hype was about. So we read up on it and come to find out it is an App that measures the performance of your vehicle, accurately. Yes, this tool utilizes the iPhone accelerometer to measure your vehicles lateral G’s, ¼ mile time, 0-60mph time and more. Remember the old days of the older G-Tech tool? Yea, this is basically the same thing only for your iPhone.

There is another iPhone App for your car, g-tac, that claims to do the same thing for a lesser price than of the Dynolicious iPhone app. For only $4.99 you can measure some of the same effects as the Dynolicious app. Although the Dynolicious app costs a bit more, $12.99, it is the higher rated application vs. the g-tac app.

So if you have an iPhone with version 2.0 firmware, including the new iPhone 3G, find yourself an open back road and let it rip. Of course we don’t recommend you doing this on public roads and we are not responsible for you doing this. But you know what we mean.
